Adding your site The VT Vermont directory is organized by category. Most sites in it are suggested to us by users. Sites are placed in categories by our staff, based in part on the most commonly used directory structures, as well as your suggestions when you submit your URL. We do this to ensure that VT Vermont is organized in a familiar way, making the directory easy to use and fair to everyone. With this in mind, we ask that you follow three simple, yet important steps if you have a link (URL) you'd like to suggest: Step 1: Check to See if Your Site is Already in the VT Vermont Directory Although we do allow multiple listings of your URL in VT Vermont, we do not allow multiple listings in the same category and if your site is accepted, we will only place your URL in the categories appropriate to your site. (If you have already submitted your site, you must wait at least 3 weeks to submit your site again.) To see where if your site is listed, type your URL into the search form. Step 2: Find the Appropriate Category in the VT Vermont Directory Finding an appropriate category for your site is extremely important. Since this is a "human" directory and each site is reviewed for content, proper categorization on your part helps us process suggestions quickly. What is an appropriate category? (Notes:  Sites that are not Vermont related or based in Vermont will not be accepted.) Step 3. Suggest your site link from the Appropriate Category Suggest your site link from the category you think most appropriate. Do this by clicking on "Add a Site" on the category page, right above the category navigation.  When you click on "Add a Site" in the appropriate category, you'll see an online form asking for information about your site. Please be prepared to provide, among other information, your site's title, URL, and a brief description. Finally, thank you your submission!  We aim to provide the best resource for VT information.
